Adhan is the call to salat.
Although it is not mandatory to perform it as part of the salat, it is recommended to recite the Adhan to announce the herald of the specific times, which are the times of Fajr, Dhuhr, and Maghrib. If one did not have the opportunity to recite the Adhan announcing the start of the specific times, one may recite the Adhan for the salawat he wishes to perform in a time slot.It is recited as below.
ALLAH HU AKBAR (4 Times)
God is Great
ASH HADU AN LA ILAHA ILL LAL LAH (Twice)
I bear witness that there is no God but Allah
ASH HADU AN NA MUHAMMAD AR RASOOLUL LAH (Twice)
I bear witness that Mohammad is the Messenger of Allah
ASH HADU AN NA ALI AN WALI ULLAH (Twice)
I bear witness that Ali is the Friend of Allah
HAYYA AL LAS SALAH (Twice)
Hasten towards prayer
HAYYA AL LAL FALAH (Twice)
Hasten towards prosperity
HAYYA ALA KHAIRIL AMAL (Twice)
Hasten towards the best of action
ALLAH HU AKBAR (Twice)
Allah is Great
LA ILAHA ILL LAL LAH (Twice)
There is no God except Allah
