Adhan is the call to salat.

Although it is not mandatory to perform it as part of the salat, it is recommended to recite the Adhan to announce the herald of the specific times, which are the times of Fajr, Dhuhr, and Maghrib. If one did not have the opportunity to recite the Adhan announcing the start of the specific times, one may recite the Adhan for the salawat he wishes to perform in a time slot.

It is recited as below.

ALLAH HU AKBAR (4 Times)

God is Great

ASH HADU AN LA ILAHA ILL LAL LAH (Twice)

I bear witness that there is no God but Allah

ASH HADU AN NA MUHAMMAD AR RASOOLUL LAH (Twice)

ASH HADU AN NA ALI AN WALI ULLAH (Twice)

I bear witness that Ali is the Friend of Allah

HAYYA AL LAS SALAH (Twice)

HAYYA AL LAL FALAH (Twice)

HAYYA ALA KHAIRIL AMAL (Twice)

ALLAH HU AKBAR (Twice)

LA ILAHA ILL LAL LAH (Twice)

There is no God except Allah
