It has been 13 blessed years since Masjid Al-Rida opened its doors, becoming a spiritual home for families across our community. Alhamdulillah, the Masjid has grown alongside the community it serves welcoming worshippers for daily prayers, Jumu’ah, Ramadan nights, Quran classes, and countless moments of reflection, peace, and unity.

As we enter a new chapter in 2025, we are excited to announce a major renovation project beginning with the installation of brand new prayer carpet across the brothers’ and sisters’ sections of the Masjid.

🌙 Why a New Prayer Carpet?

The current carpet has served us faithfully for over a decade. With increased use, it is now time to refresh the prayer space with a comfortable, durable, and beautifully designed carpet that will serve thousands of worshippers more for years to come.

This is a Sadaqa Jariya opportunity a form of continuous charity. Every prostration, every supplication, every moment of worship made on your sponsored prayer mat will be counted in your scale of good deeds, InshaAllah.

We are inviting the community to sponsor:

• Rows 1 to 7, directly behind the Imam, with each row containing 13 individual prayer carpets

Please note: You may sponsor one or more prayer carpets in your name or dedicate them on behalf of loved ones – living or deceased. If required you can choose a custom amount. All proceeds will go towards carpet, installation, management/cleaning and surplus will be used to manage the Masjid Development (New facade, doors and security) project currently underway
